Maintenance Issues
I worked closely with VCTS to assist a haulage operator which had been called to attend a Public Inquiry with the Traffic Commissioner. I witnessed first-hand how VCTS went above and beyond to identify problems, to provide bespoke training, and to install highly effective compliance systems and procedures across the operator’s business. All their hard work made my life easy when I went on to represent the operator before the Traffic Commissioner. New Operator Application
Recently VCTS was asked to assist a local waste management company that required a Restricted Operator’s Licence for eight vehicles and two trailers. Whilst completing the application it was discovered that the operator had been in possession of a licence two years previously, but lost it due to unforeseen circumstances. It was explained to the operator that he may be required to attend a public inquiry. Eventually the invitation arrived through for the director to attend the office of the Traffic Commissioner. VCTS prepared the business, it was a touch-and-go situation, the business was granted the licence with several additional undertakings and is preparing to start the operation in the near future with the help and guidance of VCTS.
